NTP Customer Repairs and Claims Process

NTP Customer Repairs and Claims Process

Need help with an NTP claim?

It is important to contact NTP before you make any repairs. NTP will guide you through the claims process.

1. Contact NTP

  • Using your Self-Service portal at portal.ntp-p2k.com.
    • This portal has a feature to locate any of the 5,400+ repair facilities NTP works with across the US and Canada.
    • Choosing a Preferred Repair Partner will guarantee labor on the covered repair and may also reduce your deductible.
  • Call NTP at 877-950-3200
    • NTP Claims Service Representative can help you locate a quality repair facility.

2. Repair Facility Contacts NTP

  • If you are already at a repair facility, make sure you let them know you have an NTP equipment protection plan.
  • Ask them to contact NTP by portal (portal.ntp-p2k.com) or email ( claims@ntp-p2k.com).
    • As the vehicle owner, only you can authorize the shop to diagnose your truck’s failure.
    • If the problem is not covered by the equipment protection plan you purchased, any diagnostic charges are your responsibility.

3. Getting NTP Approval

  • Once the repair facility has diagnosed your trouble and provided NTP with repair details, NTP will work up an approval for your claim or let you know if it’s not covered by your equipment protection plan. NTP usually does this on the same day the repair facility sends the information.

4. NTP Settles the Claim

  • Once approved repair(s) are completed, the repair facility will send NTP an invoice and NTP submits payment to them for the approved repairs, usually within 1 hour.
  • An equipment protection plan owner is responsible for any claim’s deductible.
  • Please review your equipment protection plan thoroughly for equipment coverage, deductibles and other details.

Towing Details

NTP can help you find a service to call. If you use the towing allowance included with your NTP equipment protection plan, the towing cost will be added to your total approved claim amount (up to $350/occurrence). There is a limit of three occurrences during the term of your equipment protection plan.
